Welcome to Jaded Boer Farm. My name is Julie Bogh and I have been raising Boer Goats in the beautiful Oregon City/Beavercreek area for 7 years. A member of the ABGA and CBGA, I am focused on breed standards and healthy herd management. I manage a small herd, normally 10 to 12 brood does with anywhere from 4 to 6 doelings carried over from the previous year. This allows me more hands on time with my herd and availability during kidding.
Teamed with my good friend Joyce Peterson, Oregon Boer goats.com, we work together with bucks to improve our breeding programs. This year my does were bred between three bucks, Capriole Cadilac Jack from Oregon Boer Goats, Capriole Double Time and JBogh Blaze. Double Time sold this year at the Exibitor Edge Sale so I will keep my Cadilac Jack boy this year. Check out my buck page.
My babies arrive mid January to early February every year and are ready to leave in 3 months. The 4H wethers often go earlier, but already have pasture time and are established on hay and grain. My goats are dehorned, it is my preference for handling purposes.
